I was trying to install rmagick on an ubuntu 7.04 and

"ERROR: Error installing rmagick:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension."

I found the solution in google cache: install the 1.15.12 version !

sudo /opt/ruby-enterprise-1.8.6-20090113/bin/gem install rmagick -v 1.15.12
